As program coordinator for the Texas A&M Institute for Equine Sciences, Alex develops the communications and marketing strategy for the Institute and coordinates the production of effective communications products that highlight their stakeholders’ numerous projects serving the state of Texas and beyond. She leads efforts in website design and management, social media strategy and content, oversees internal and external communications, and ensures quality control for the Institute’s communications products.

Prior to joining the Institute for Equine Sciences in February 2024, she worked in Washington, D.C., for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and the House Republican Conference where she assisted in professional administrative support, event coordination, and strategy development for constituent communications and outreach. Additionally, Alex has an extensive background in marketing and communications through experiences with her family’s digital marketing agency, Livestock Launch.

Alex graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Communications & Journalism in May 2023. While at Texas A&M, she was heavily involved both on and off-campus. As Vice President of Public Relations for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, she founded AGLS Giving Day, a student-led fundraising event that raised over $30,000 for the Dean’s Excellence Fund in its inaugural year. Alex was also a student assistant for the Texas A&M Foundation, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Development Office.

Most notably, Alex was an active member of the Kansas Junior Angus Association and National Junior Angus Association from the age of nine until she concluded her career serving on the National Junior Angus Board of Directors from 2020-2022. In 2021, Alex was selected to be the Chairman of the board and led 11 other directors that represented the 6,000+ membership of the National Junior Angus Association.

Outside of working as the program coordinator for the Institute, she is currently working toward her masters degree in Public Service & Administration at the Texas A&M Bush School of Government & Public Service.
