Courtney Grimshaw Equine Assisted Services Initiative
This initiative was established to foster partnerships, enhance research, and connect professionals in both research and service. By developing best practices in equine-assisted services (EAS), the program strives to ensure that more individuals can access and benefit from these transformative programs.
This initiative houses the Texas A&M Courtney Cares program that offers equine assisted services to children and adults, with physical and/or cognitive conditions, and veterans in the Brazos Valley.

An epicenter for research
We strive to be the state of Texas’ trusted leader and collaborative entity for the advancement of research, education, and comprehensive support in the field of equine assisted services.
